The following notice came out from the Judiciary today (9/23/26):
Public Portal Service Advisory
The Vermont Judiciary Public Portal is currently experiencing unusually high levels of internet traffic that are affecting system performance and availability. Users may experience intermittent errors, slow response times, or difficulty accessing case information and online payment services.
Judiciary Technology Services is actively working to stabilize the Public Portal and restore reliable access. This work includes implementing additional protections to manage the increased traffic while ensuring that existing Public Portal functions, including online payments, continue to operate properly.
Because these changes require careful configuration and testing, users may continue to experience intermittent service disruptions while this work is underway.
We recognize the importance of the Public Portal to attorneys, justice partners, and members of the public, and we apologize for the inconvenience. We appreciate your patience as we work to restore consistent and reliable service.
We will update this notice as additional information becomes available.
