Legal Services Vermont, and the Entrepreneurial Legal Lab at Vermont Law and Graduate School, are working together to assist Vermonters affected by the summer 2023 floods by offering monthly Flood Legal Assistance Clinics that will rotate around the state in the coming year.
At these clinics, volunteers will be available to provide information, answer questions, help file FEMA and Disaster Unemployment Assistance (DUA) appeals, and assist with other paperwork (such as communications with a landlord or insurance claims). NOTE: these events will provide legal information, not advice. For more information, contact nakilloran@vermontlaw.edu or ejohnson@legalservicesvt.org.
