The Vermont Department of Disabilities, Aging, and Independent Living (DAIL) has advised the VBA that a program designed to increase the flow of disabled college students into law school has just extended its application deadline until May 12.
The Coelho Center Law Fellowship Program at Loyola Law School in Los Angeles provides an impressive program of support and extends various opportunities to successful applicants. As the website says, “We believe in creating a strong pipeline of law students with disabilities who will go on to serve as attorneys, judges, public policy professionals, and public servants. Our ultimate goal is to increase disability representation in the legal profession. “
Details of the program and the application materials can be found here.
