Estate Planning Associate Attorney~ Montpelier, Vermont (Hybrid-Remote)
We are seeking a part-time, or full-time, Estate Planning Associate Attorney to join the staff at the Law Office of Claudia I. Pringles, PLLC, a small firm located in downtown Montpelier, Vermont. We provide legal services in estate planning, special needs planning, probate, and guardianship matters.
As an Estate Planning Associate Attorney, you’ll be part of a small, collaborative team of attorneys and staff who put integrity and compassion at the forefront of their work.
Because we help clients make some of the most important decisions of their lives, this role is ideally suited to someone who is committed to providing caring and professional one-on-one client service. We help clients plan for the unexpected, including making plans to care for themselves and their loved ones. Education Requirements & Qualifications
- J.D. from an accredited law school
- Licensed to practice in the state of Vermont
- 0 to 5 years of experience
- Demonstrated interest in estate planning by either work experience, coursework, or probate court clerkship.

Responsibilities Include:
- Drafting Estate Planning and other legal documents
- Conducting meetings or intakes with clients and prospective clients
- Expectation to learn and know the law, prepare own documents to go to court, and work well and respectfully with court staff
- Attending court hearings for probate cases, guardianship cases, and other court hearings. We are not a heavy litigation practice
