This just in (7/12/23 at 3:30 PM) from the Vermont Judiciary Security and Safety Program:
Except as noted below, all Courthouses will be open Thursday and Friday, July 13 and 14:
- The Orange County Courthouse will be holding remote hearings only
- The Washington Civil/Probate Court staff will be working at the Washington Criminal Courthouse in Barre. Hearings will be remote only. The courthouse building remains closed.
- Supreme Court remains closed.
The CAO and business office remain closed and temporary arrangements are being made. We continue to work closely with BGS and Washington County on the clean-up of the courthouses.
Information about the Week of July 17 will be posted on Friday afternoon. Thank you all for your flexibility and resilience.
