Associate Attorney – Property + Development / Litigation
Burlington, Vermont based Paul Frank + Collins seeks an enthusiastic entry to mid-level litigation associate. The practice is broad-based and includes general commercial litigation, land use, professional malpractice, environmental, property, and construction disputes. The ideal candidate has excellent academic credentials and one to four years of relevant legal experience. Exemplary candidates without such experience will be considered. Law review and clerkship credentials are preferred, but not required.
The candidate must have strong oral advocacy and written communication skills, as well as excellent legal research, writing and analytical skills. The candidate must be admitted or eligible for admission to the Vermont Bar. While candidates should have an interest and commitment to living and working in the wonderful state of Vermont, some amount of hybrid/remote work is a possibility. Litigation practitioners must travel to and attend court and administrative hearings in person, including various evening meetings of Development Review Boards and related bodies.
