Real Estate Attorney (5–10 Years Experience)
Residential & Commercial | Flexible Role Structure
We are seeking an experienced Real Estate Attorney to join our practice. This position is intentionally structured as one role with multiple possible configurations, allowing us to align the scope of work with the experience, location, and professional goals of the successful candidate.
Role Structure Options
The role may be structured under one of the following tracks:
Track 1: Vermont-Based Practice
A full residential and commercial real estate practice, including:
- Review and analysis of residential and commercial title searches
- Drafting of title commitments and title opinions
- Management of transactions from contract through closing
- Conducting residential and commercial real estate closings
- Direct communication with clients, lenders, and real estate professionals
Track 2: Relocation to Vermont
A full practice role for attorneys currently licensed in other jurisdictions who are interested in relocating to Vermont. Hybrid flexibility is available following onboarding.
Track 3: Remote Title Review & Oversight
A remote role focused exclusively on title work and quality control, including:
- Review of residential and commercial title searches
- Preparation and oversight of title commitments and opinions
- Legal oversight of title delivery to vendors
- No client meetings, closings, or business development responsibilities
Qualifications
- 5–10 years of real estate law experience
- Licensed in Vermont or licensed in another jurisdiction and eligible to waive into Vermont
- Strong drafting, analytical, and organizational skills
- Ability to manage matters independently with appropriate collaboration
Hybrid or remote flexibility may be available following an initial training and orientation period.
