There are three 2-year seats up for election each year, as well as the 2-year seat for ABA Delegate. Additionally, the executive committee positions of Treasurer, Secretary, and President Elect, are open every year. As of this time, there is one seat for which we do not have any candidates. If you are interested in running, now is the time to put your name before the Nominating Committee.
The VBA Nominating Committee is meeting on Dec. 4 to select nominees for all open seats on the VBA Board of Managers. If you would like to be considered for the slate, please contact Josh Diamond, Chair of the Nominating Committee, at [email protected] before Dec. 1. Nominations may also come by petition or on the floor of the Mid-Year meeting. See the VBA constitution here for complete information. VBA Members will vote for the Board at the Mid-Year Meeting scheduled for Friday, March 27th at the Hotel Champlain in Burlington.
