Brian Potts is an adjunct professor at Vermont Law and Graduate School and will be in Burlington on July 10th hosting the first-ever Vermont Legal Mentor Network meetup and happy hour. It will be at VLGS’s Burlington space, 126 College Street, 4th Floor, from 5:00–7:00 pm. Here is the registration form. (Registration is recommended but not required).
The Legal Mentor Network currently has more than 4,000 lawyers and law students using its website to connect with mentors and mentees for free. Anyone who wants to join and get connected to a mentor or mentee can just go to the Legal Mentor Network’s website and sign up. It takes 5 minutes to onboard as a mentor or mentee, you can choose how many people you want to connect with, and the total time commitment is low.
The rewards are high from both a personal and professional standpoint. The Network has started local chapters in numerous cities where lawyers and law students can meet in person (New York, LA, DC, Seattle, Dallas, etc.) and they look forward to building a chapter in Vermont!
