MSK ATTORNEYS in Burlington, Vermont, is seeking an associate to join one of Vermont’s leading real estate, land use, and commercial litigation and transaction firms. Our ideal candidate has excellent written and verbal communication skills and academic credentials. Our preference would be an attorney with some litigation experience, but we welcome applications from new law school graduates, court clerks or others who have a demonstrated interest in litigation and/or real estate and land use.
The attorney will immediately be involved in every aspect of representing individuals, businesses, and others in real estate, zoning, planning, Act 250, and other land use matters in local and state regulatory proceedings and in court. Working closely with other attorneys, the associate will communicate with and counsel clients, research and prepare applications, correspondence and briefs regarding local, state, Act 250 and other real estate and land use laws and regulations, prepare and respond to pleadings and discovery, conduct depositions and examine witnesses and experts in hearings and at trial.
The salary range is $70,000-$90,000, commensurate with experience, plus excellent benefits and the possibility of some remote work.
