American Bar Association, Law Day 2004
The theme for Law Day 2004 is “To Win Equality by Law: Brown v. Board at 50.” In the coming months, the Division will be posting a wide variety of classroom activities, talking points, and resources on the Brown decision and its legacy on the Law Day web site. The Division will also be producing a new Law Day poster for classrooms featuring archival photographs related to the Brown decision and an excerpt from Justice Thurgood Marshall’s comments on the bicentennial of the U.S. Constitution, from which the Law Day theme is derived. Ordering information will be available on the Law Day website.
